HOW ABOUT A LITTLE FRIDAY FUN!!! October 03 2014

I received a GREAT idea from a 'FAIRLY REGULAR VISITOR TO THE SHOP', if you know what I mean, to launch a bit of a "regular" feature on the blog that allows quilters to divulge their most "memorable" moments of ...

Okay!   So here's how it works.   If you have a rather "memorable" story about your quilting, you can drop me a line at great1870@gmail.com and I'll be happy to post the tale on the blog.   You're more than likely going to have to copy and paste that email address.   Sorry 'bout that.

You CAN remain anonymous unless, of course, you care to make comment like, "THAT WAS ME!"

OTHERWISE, COMPLETE ANONYMITY IS GUARANTEED!

SO LET'S GET STARTED!!!

WHAT BETTER WAY TO START THAN WITH THE ANTICS OF THE GAL WHO PROVIDED ME WITH THIS IDEA IN THE FIRST PLACE!   Remember!   She will remain anonymous unless she fesses up... or her classmates spill the beans!

LET'S JUST SAY SHE'S AN AMAZING QUILTER AND SHE ALSO PROMISES ME NO ALCOHOL WAS INVOLVED!!!

HERE'S HER TALE....in her very own words....

Today at Embroidery Club, I killed (literally not figuratively) everyone with my antics about Water Soluble Thread.  Used this thread in Feathered Star - automatic threader (or whatever you call that thingy) wasn't lined up with needle; so I licked the thread - not once, but twice. The third time I was about to thread the needle, looked at the directions and realized that every time I licked the thread, it disappeared!!!!! Go figure!!!!

Well, to this mystery quilter I say, "a little dab will do ya!"

Sheesh.... I can relate on SEW many levels.   Not with the water soluble thread mind you, but on SEW many other quilting "things"!!

THANKS FOR SHARING, YOU-KNOW-WHO!!

HAVE A SUPER WEEKEND EVERYONE!   STAY SAFE AND QUILT ON!!!
