BOO!!! October 31 2014

TALK ABOUT YOUR EAGER QUILTER WAITING FOR SUE TO OPEN UP THIS MORNING!!!

If you haven't had a chance to come by for a visit in the last week, I thought it would be nice to show you Tony's BOO HOUSE!!!    This creation is absolutely amazing and it actually produces SMOKE through the chimney!!!

Just look at the detail!!!!    Well, what else would you expect from Mr. Polera?!?!?!?!   Tombstones!!!   Caskets leaning against the house!!!   Black cats!!!

I would like to emphasize that this was not created from a kit.

Tony made it from scratch and his imagination!

AND if you look at the back of the house...

...there you'll see the working chimney.    Sue tells us that if you light a little incense pod in the bottom, the smoke travels right up the chimney and out the top adding to the "BOO FACTOR"!!!

Just look at the work involved in the "brick and mortar".   WAY TO GO TONY!!

AS WELL, there is a quilt made by Tony hanging up in the shop!!!!   You must drop by and have a look.   It is FABULOUS!!!

Well, there was a little bit of fun, as usual, at Thimbles Group yesterday.    Poor Sue.  It must be a little bit like trying to herd cats with our 9 a.m. group.   I sense the other groups throughout the day have just as much fun!   I know the evening group certainly does!

Beverley and Penny were VERY MUCH in the spirit of the "season" and this photos says it all!!

The smiles on their faces are absolutely INFECTIOUS!!!

I'm pretty sure Sue is continuing The Thimbles Club!   A new session will be starting in January and it costs only $30 for the year.   It is FUN!   You can choose to participate in the quilt-making or you can just attend and enjoy the hour.   Sue does an excellent job of trying to pack in a small project that we partially make and then take home to finish later.   How she does it is beyond me.    OH!  There is always amazing show and share and a draw for a very cool prize!!!

WARNING:   If you don't like fun and laughter, then this monthly group is definitely NOT for you.

We want to wish the two Sue's and Wanda a wonderful time at the Fern Resort this weekend.   Sue B. and Wanda's retreat starts today, and, of course, Sue P. will be there all day Saturday and Sunday.   We wish all of the lucky retreat attendees a marvelous time.    ENJOY!!!!   I hear the fresh-from-the-oven cinnamon buns are to die for!!!

Yeah!  You read that right.  That's their morning snack!!!

If you were unable to attend this amazing retreat, there's always next year!!!

HAVE A SUPER WEEKEND AND MAKE TIME FOR SOME QUILTING!

And to you CHEESEHEADS...

I know there is at least one of you out here...

ENJOY YOUR BYE!
