Sweet Snow Along 7 - Three Blocks

Posted by Wanda Milankov on

The goal this week is to assemble 3 blocks: Row 4 Block 3, Row 6 Block 1 and Row 7 Block 3.

You will need:

          - sewing machine loaded with a neutral thread

          - iron and pressing surface

          - previously made HSTs

          - Black Vintage Cookbook fabric

          - White Solid fabric

Just a reminder, two methods of assembly will be referred to. One, showing the assembly used by the pattern designer (sewing triangles) and Two, using only HSTs with no sewing of triangles.

Row 4 Block 3.

Gather or cut the pieces you will need for the method you are using. Order of sewing the pieces will no longer be shown as I am confident that you can figure it out now! Hint: In all 3 blocks, assemble the 4 quadrants first.

  • I’m really enjoying the accuracy I’m achieving using thangles. The points are fantastic and my block ends up the right size! Thank you for adding this method to your instructions.
