Pillow Backs

Learn how easy these are to make in our afternoon session on Monday June 17 from 1 - 4 p.m. You will need a pillow front (or a fat quarter for the front) and a fat quarter for the back, plus an 18 or 22" zipper.

We are making these fun bowl covers this month in a make and take class on Tuesday June 25 from 9-12. You will need a fat quarter, a bowl and your sewing machine!

Wonky Log Cabin

Make quilt blocks using a muslin foundation using all those scraps you really didn’t want to throw away!  The possibilities are limitless!

Mystery Quilt in a Day

Well almost! We cut it, you sew it, but you won't know what you're making until the day of the class. Your choice of fabrics.

Clematis Bag

Try a bit of cork in this easy to make  bag which could be made into an over the shoulder or cross body bag.  Learn how to put a zipper in and find out a few tips for changing the size of this useful bag.

Paperless Paper Piecing

 I love to paper piece, but I hate to tear away the paper!  Find out how easy it is to avoid tearing paper!  I’ll supply the pattern and the fabric to make a block.

Retreat Bag

These have become the latest bags to make!  The wire inside the bag allows the bag to open up and stay open allowing you to see everything inside. (It reminds me of the old Doctors Bags!) The pattern is a free download, and we stock the wire inserts!

Scalloped Edge Placemats

They may look difficult, but in fact they are quite simple to put together.  Using the Pre cut flex foam for the base of the placemat, you will only need to choose your three fabrics to make a set of four.

Ruler Work

You’ve practiced free motion quilting, but would like to find out how to use the rulers and develop confidence using them. This class is for you!  Paula will talk and demonstrate different patterns that can be created using the VersaTool and Angela Walters rulers – Slim, Archie and Squiggy.  (you will need at least one of these rulers for the class)

Row by Row Placemats

This year, the theme is Food and Wanda has come up with a brilliant concept – placemats!  Using her reverse applique method, you will make one of four placemats.  Four shops – four placemats – Four Fruits!

Raggedy Quilt

Northcott will be releasing a fabulous group of Canadian Flannels this month and what better way to make a cozy quilt than with a raggedy quilt pattern.  You will love how quickly this goes together, and it can all be done on your sewing machine!
