Posted by Wanda Milankov on
Our goal this week is to complete 12 more blocks.
Don't panic! These are 12 easy ones.
You will need:
- pattern pages 3 and 5
- a sewing machine and regular sewing supplies
- an iron and ironing surface
- the following fabric pieces
2½” (3½”, 4½”) sq. |
2½”x4½” (3½”x6½”, 4½”x8½”) |
2½”x6½” (3½”x9½”, 4½”x12½”) |
|
A | 2 | ||
U | 1 | 2 | |
V | 2 | ||
W | 5 | 1 | 3 |
X | 3 | 1 | |
Y | 13 | 6 | |
Z | 11 | 11 |
The blocks to be made this week are numbers 1, 3, 6, 43, 49, 51, 7, 34, 50, 11, 12 on page 3 and 32 on page 5.
Notice that these blocks are quite similar so stacking and chaining makes the task simpler. Try it with # 3, 6, 43, 49 and 51.
In case you are not familiar with chaining, sew the same squares in a stack together one after another.
